Levels of Inspection - Flowline
- Level 1 Inspection- Visual Inspection, Ultrasonic Wall Thickness testing, Wing removal with cleaning of wing end and thread end, Magnetic Particle Inspection, and Band.
- Level 2 Inspection- Visual Inspection, Ultrasonic Wall Thickness testing, Wing removal with cleaning of wing end and thread end, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Band, and Pressure Testing and Paint.
- Level 3 Inspection- Visual Inspection, Ultrasonic Wall Thickness testing, Wing removal with cleaning of wing end and thread end, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Band, Pressure Testing and Paint, plus Sandblasting, Disassembly, and Reassembly of valves.
Visual - A complete visual of the inside bores of all High Pressure Equipment; all end connections, seal surfaces, and other surfaces for wear and damage.
Magnetic Particle Inspection - Magnetic Particle test is performed by electrically inducing a magnetic field in a component and then applying particles in a wet fluorescent format. The magnetic field causes the particles to align over the surface of the component along the lines of magnetism. Any indications of cracks will become apparent as a fine line (also as a break in the magnetic field). All MPI inspection is done with CGSB certified Inspectors.
Ultrasonic Wall Thickness Measurements - Wall thickness measurements are taken in multiple locations on each piece of equipment to check for erosion and to verify acceptable minimum wall thickness.
Pressure Testing - Kings IIC is capable of performing hydrostatic pressure testing, of your High Pressure Equipment up to 20,000 PSI.
Painting & Sand Blasting - Every Kings shop is equipped with a paint booth and an environmentally friendly Sand Blasting system.
Identification and Banding - All equipment will be identified with stainless steel bands displaying Serial Number, Manufacturer, Pressure Rating and inspected date. Unit, location, and date can also be applied to the band. Kings IIC also body stamp’s the serial number and manufacturer into the body of the component (if not done by the manufacturer already) in the off chance that the asset band goes missing.
Complete Repair - Each Shop location is stocked with repair parts and service equipment for complete repair of your High Pressure Gear.
Documentation - Kings IIC provides detailed documentation of results for all products inspected, tested, and repaired. Reports are available when the service is completed and also available via our website.
Asset Management - Tracking and maintaining the volume of Critical Pressure Equipment used in high-pressure services is a major undertaking. Asset management is a cooperative program where specially trained Kings Personnel inventory, track, and maintain a customer’s High Pressure assets at their facility or in a designated Kings IIC facility. Kings asset management service is allowing customers to significantly increase equipment utilization rates and service life, while reducing total overall costs and safety concerns.
Kings IIC is flexible in providing all of your inspection requirements, at a competitive price, in your most convenient capacity, whatever and wherever they are needed.
Integrated Iron Controls also has the ability to customize inspection packages to suit your specific needs and can repair the following equipment:
